The Carlton Arms Hotel, also known as Artbreak Hotel or Ye Olde Carlton Arms Hotel, features 54 rooms across five stories. Each room features unique art from artists worldwide. Mural by Colette Jennings in room 2A is one of the earliest paintings. Rooms have air conditioning, private entrances, wardrobes, and carpeted floors. Rooms include options for private or shared bathrooms. Rooms with shared bathrooms have sinks, with separate toilet and shower rooms located along the hallways on every floor. Most rooms with private bathrooms have a bathtub with shower. Single rooms have one bed; double rooms have one or two beds; triple rooms have one double and one single bed; quad rooms have two double beds.

The Carlton Arms Hotel does not have room service but provides towels or linen at guests' request. Shake Shack offers milkshakes and burgers until late evening hours.

The property features an onsite gallery called the Artbreakhotel Gallery. The Carlton Arms Art Project hosts nearly 200 artists in its residency program over 35 years. The hotel presents VISCERA, an exhibition of new work by Alex Wolkowicz. It also features HYBRID, a solo show of new works by Heather Gabel, alongside drawings by Jon Barraclough. Ghosts, a solo exhibition of paintings by Helen Oliver Adelson, is also available. The two-part show features Gabel's collage works in a separate space. The Artbreak Gallery presents INTIMACIES, an exhibition of paintings by Monica Schenini.

Located at the corner of East 25th Street and 3rd Avenue in Manhattan, the Carlton Arms Hotel is near Gramercy Park, Madison Square Park, the Flatiron District, the Empire State Building, and Union Square. The Iconic Flatiron Building is located right across the park on the corner of 23rd Street and Broadway. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from 23rd Street. Grand Central is 2 km away, and LaGuardia is 15 km away. Buses and subways are 5 minutes away.
